During the 2011 Dr. Christoph Hienerth, from the Department of Innovation and Organizational Economics at Copenhagen Business School in partnership with KROONS, University of Lund, and Øresund Entrepreneurship Academy will repeat the success of 2008 and yet again run the elective course Instant Innovation Camp. On the Instant Innovation Camp elective courses in 2008-2010 more than five hundred Master Level Students across nationality, universities and field of study co-created sustainable solutions together with the sponsor companies TrygVesta, Codan, BRFkredit, DONG energy, Seas NVE, SAS, Novartis, FDB, Nestlé, Arla Foods, Amagerforbrænding and Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke.
The aim of the course is to supplement the traditional, theoretical elective course with the opportunity to work with real life business cases in practice at a 8 hour Instant Business Camp in an intensive co-creative innovation process.

The elective course
The Elective has 3 modules: Inspire – Explore – Develop where the case sponsor is involved in company visit and at the Business Camp in Co-Creation solutions.

In the theoretical part of the course students works with the strategic approaches in both Innovation and Corporate; identification, development, screening and evaluation of valuable and sustainable ideas. Strategic approaches to innovation and sustainability are presented in eight lessons, in which the sponsor companies are welcome to participate.
The Instant Innovation Camp
The practical element of the course is the Instant Innovation Camp, where students in 8 hours will develop sustainable and co-concrete solutions to the business case from the sponsor company.
The practical element of the course begins with a company visit where the company presents the business challenges and discusses the market and the main challenges of the company with the students.
In the end of November companies and the students attend a 8 hours Instant Business Camp during which the students, companies and academia will co-create concrete sustainable solutions to the real life business cases presented by the sponsor companies.
The Master Level students will be in mixed groups with strengths in a range of relevant fields, such as: Market Assessment, Sales & Marketing, Economy and Finance, Logistics, engineering, processes etc.
The Instant Business Innovation Method™
The Instant Business Innovation Method™ by KROONS, makes it possible to manage a heterogeneous group of stakeholders to co-create sustainable break throughs as i.e. new strategies, concepts and products in a very short period of time, even hours, through a intensive consensus drive innovation process.
At the Instant Business Camp the company, together with fellow participants will design and develop concrete ideas and actions through rigorous and cutting edge workshops liberating the best knowledge in the company. The result will be a co-created, clear sustainable solution and its implementation will show that the company is at t
he leading edge of innovation.

* Sponsor: entrance fee DKK 25.000 – 95.000 excl. VAT
